A Turning Point in History
The Treaty of Versailles was a turning point in history because it not only put an end to World War I, but started conflict in Germany and made the people angry at the government. The treaty led to the start the League of Nations, the first world-wide coalition to keep peace. It is also said to be one of the main causes of World War II.
